What I cannot do
I am an independent guide, not a tour operator and not a booking agent, so I cannot change, move or cancel a booking. For that, go through your GetYourGuide confirmation email. I am also not the Alcaldía Xochimilco, SEDEMA, SACMEX or any boat cooperative — I cannot reserve a trajinera for you, set a price or send a boatman.
If you were overcharged at a dock
Two things are worth knowing before you get on a boat, and neither of them needs me. The official tariff is MX$750 pesos per hour for the whole trajinera, so anyone quoting you a price per person is breaching it. And you may bring your own food and drink aboard at no surcharge — being charged for that is a documented scam. Both are reportable at the attention modules at the docks. Agree the price and the duration out loud before you step aboard.
